The Necessity of SEO for Businesses Seeking to Expand

SEO is the acronym for Search Engine Optimization or Search Engine Optimizer and serves its purpose through unpaid search engines. When a business makes the decision to create a website to further promote their product or service, the way by which this website becomes discovered and does not simply sit idly and unnoticed is through Search Engine Optimization. SEO focuses on web searches including local search, image search, video search, and more. Without SEO, a website is not benefitting a business to its maximum capacity.

A Search Engine Optimizer consists of a skilled team of professionals who are dedicated to researching how a search engine functions in relation to your business and what people commonly search for through the actual words they type into search engines in relation to your business’ product or service. Once this group of people has this information, they then work to capitalize on this knowledge.

When deciding which SEO will fulfill your company’s needs best, it is important to perform extensive research, as there are many companies that claim impossible results and use unethical means to produce fraudulent results. Why Does My Business Need a Mobile Website?

Once a business puts the time, money, and resources into creating a website for their product or service, it is important to create a mobile website. A mobile website differs from a website seen on a computer in that it is created in such a way that it fits the screen of a mobile device, optimizes the most important information and buttons for the user, and makes everything on the website much more user-friendly. This is important because it decreases the opportunities for users to become frustrated and leave one business’ site for another.

With the obvious growth in mobile phone users, mobile phones have proved their potential in becoming the next dominant platform for internet users. If businesses want to keep up with the rapidly increasing trend in mobile phones, it is necessary to get a mobile website, which is a great way to advertise and let clients know about a business’ product or service.

Global Creative Studios, located in Los Angeles is able to design and develop mobile websites that accurately portray a business and allow users to navigate the mobile website with ease. Global understands the art and delicacy of electronic commerce, and its team of website developers asses a business’ current website in order to be able to design an applicable mobile website that will showcase a company.

Global Creative Studios provides business development for businesses seeking to expand, such as printing, promotional items, website design and development, digital media and online marketing, video and sound, event services and planning—specializing in VIP red carpet events—and more.

Think Big; Think Globally for Websites: Five easy tips for businesses and consumers to consider

The internet is an amazing resource not only for research, but also as a massive tool for advertising and marketing. Websites have everything from product and service information to tutorials and shopping carts to purchase new goodies. More importantly, websites are big! Anyone in the world can view a website with the correct search terms or web address. Here is a list of 5 important factors a website needs to not only keep a customer’s attention, but also to ensure success in business, locally and globally.

GlobalCreativeStudios_WebsiteDevelopmentAndDesign

  • Think BIG Marketing – A website, is first and foremost a form of marketing, or mass communication. Websites allow owners and clients to interact through forms of marketing and advertising such as newsletters, social media platforms, RSS Feeds, blogs, featured products, and discount offers.
  • Aesthetic Graphics – Graphics, images, animations, pictures, videos, and logos capture viewer’s attention and easily depict a company’s message. Graphic design conveys images universally, which quickly illustrates a corporation’s mission.
  • Stress-free Navigation – It may seem simple enough, but websites should be user friendly and simple to navigate. Drop down menus should clearly denote topics found on other pages so that potential clients can find relevant information. Without an easy path to follow, pages will be lost in the World Wide Web.
  • Content is King – Nothing says clarity better than spelling it out, literally. Content for websites not only clearly annotates a company’s message and enhances images, but content helps “rank” your website higher on Google’s meter. With a higher ranking in search engines, websites are more likely to be seen by a wider client base, meaning, ultimately, content is King of the world.
  • Efficient and Available Contact Information – All web pages need a simply noted form of contact for complaints, comments, purchasing products, and questions. Without contact information, companies and their websites seem worlds away.

By utilizing these five rules for successful websites, a company helps to enhance business by creating a prosperous web page, comprehensively and globally.

If you feel that your website is lacking one or more of these essential factors, please contact Global today, and our web development department will get in contact with you right away!

GCS Promotes Deal-Of-The-Day Website Social Shopper through Innovative and Creative Measures

Social Shopper, a deal-of-the-day website, gains wide exposure through a creatively envisioned and designed trailer by Global Creative Studios.

Tarzana, CA, Los Angeles, CA—Social Shopper is a deal-of-the-day website that offers a daily deal at a discount of 50%-90% off of prices from the best local spas, bars and nightclubs, theatres, outdoor activities and recreation, health and fitness, cultural arts and entertainment, restaurants, retail products, and more. Established in 2010 in Vancouver, Social Shopper has become a main competitor of LivingSocial and Groupon. Because of its recent start-up and small business-like feel, Social Shopper is able to personably meet clients’ consumer needs.

Social Shopper flourishes with its mission of collective consumer power designated as “social shopping,” which is the act of buying together and, as a result, saving money together. Social Shopper enables its clients to hold the much-needed consumer power in a rough economy.

Global Creative Studios, a one-stop digital studio based in Los Angeles that provides services for all business development needs, has assisted Social Shopper in its business promotion. Global thrives on its ability to think creatively and effectively in order to personally represent and promote every client. Global’s creative think-tank consists of professionals with over 35 years of combined experience.

Innovative CEO of Global Creative Studios, Pedram Doustkam, “Peter Doust,” envisioned a way in which Social Shopper could optimize its exposure as an expanding business. Global invested in a trailer that would promote Social Shopper and more widely reach the daily-deal company’s intended audience. This trailer became a virtual manifestation of Social Shopper and traveled all around Los Angeles reaching out to customers.

Trailer before

Once Peter Doust’s vision was made a reality, Global’s team of graphic designers and other professionals worked assiduously to create a design for the trailer, while Doust custom-made a removable contraption that would protrude from the outside of the trailer and be the resting place for two ipads. As seen in the picture, these ipads were used for passers-by to access and sign up for deals on Social Shopper’s website. Global Creative Studios also designed business promotion items, including bags, Chap Stick, hats, gift cards, t-shirts, sweatshirt hoodies, and more that were handed out at the trailer’s site. This eye-catching trailer inspired people to walk up and see what was happening, which caused Social Shopper to gain exposure and customers immediately. The crowd was excited and thrilled with the free promotional items, and the ipads engaged the crowd by providing a way for the people to actively participate in this business’ mission.

It is creativity such as this that keeps Global Creative Studios ahead of its competitors and well-respected by its clients.

Global Creative Studios also brought Social Shopper to the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and showcased Social Shopper with custom-designed promotional items, which provided business advertising and were worn by attendees and celebrities alike at the well-renowned film festival.

Breast Cancer Charities of America benefits from the ingenious creation of Global’s CEO, Pedram Doustkam, “Peter Doust.”

Tarzana, CA, Los Angeles, CA—Breast Cancer Charities of America (BCCA) is a non-profit organization that brings the “integrated cancer care” message to the women of America—meaning unifying the mind, body, and spirit and bringing these aspects of the “whole person” to the cancer prevention, treatment, and recovery effort. Traditional care stops with surgery and chemotherapy, but integrated care adds to this with its focus on the important elements of nutrition, exercise, mind and body, social support, and a search for greater meaning.

Global Creative Studios, established in 2004 and based in Los Angeles, has substantial experience working with Breast Cancer Charities of America and understands and fully supports the importance of this cause. When Global Creative Studios was approached for BCCA’s fundraising event, CEO Pedram Doustkam, “Peter Doust,” recognized the necessity of planning an unforgettable event to gain exposure to and to raise funds for BCCA.

Once the event was established—hosted by Sophie Monk and Ashlan Gorse at Guys and Dolls Lounge in Hollywood—Global’s team of professionals worked to set it in motion and to plan and execute the red carpet event. Firstly, Global seized the idea of a typical red carpet and transformed it into that of a pink carpet to match the color-schemed theme of BCCA. Then, a fashion show was to be put on, but there was a significant problem—no runway exists inside Girls and Dolls Lounge.

Inside Guys and Dolls Lounge

Doust, CEO of Global, visualized a way in which the fashion show would be able to transpire within one of L.A.’s hottest clubs, which is meant for social gatherings, parties, special events, and private membership—not upscale, charitable fashion shows. It was essential that a runway be built, and Doust diligently worked for a week to ensure its completion.

The runway in progress

The final product of the handmade runway was spectacular and proved the hard work and dedication of the head of Global Creative Studios and stood as a physical manifestation of the assiduousness of the entirety of the experts at Global.
The fashion show occurred and featured designs from Chagoury Couture, Adolfo Sanchez, Rik Ducar, Andy Thê-Anh, Christiane King, Oday Shakar, Eva Franco, Eva Culture, Yotam Soloman, Trina Turk, V Rose, and C.Z. Falconer.

Fundraising 101

Fundraising helps, whether non-profit organizations, charities, religious groups, political campaigns, or disease awareness. However, some people fluster and overwhelm themselves with where to start or how to organize such events. We are here to help offer advice or help host events. Consider the following eight tips when organizing and fundraising for an event:

GlobalCreativeStudios_FundraisingEvents_FundraisingTips

  1. To begin, pick a cause close to heart. Whether volunteering or working for a specific charity organization, choosing an association that’s personally affecting propels your drive to fundraise and makes a world of difference.
  2. Fully and explicitly write out the purpose and mission of the event and the ultimate goal sought to accomplish. Literally write this on paper, and distribute it to everyone involved. Write the event’s mission on white boards, Facebook Group walls, etc. This helps to destroy ulterior motives or pushes to go a different direction.
  3. Coordinate volunteers who are interested in the same non-profit or who believe in the same mission. Use family, friends, and acquaintances who show concern about the same association to help organize and arrange an event.
  4. Talk about money issues openly and honestly with the event’s main committee. Set a fundraising goal and a realistic budget (include a little wiggle room for unexpected costs). There needs to be an organized way to track revenue from ticket sales, VIP ticket sales, silent/live auctions, monetary donations, contributions of physical items, etc.
  5. Stay local, but think globally. A community may provide the best support, whether a big city or a small town. Aim to seek mass, nationwide recognition for your cause, but keep in mind that local resources personalize and unify a group of people.
  6. Don’t forget to reach out to large organizations! National charities and non-profits (i.e., Breast Cancer Charities of America, Autism Speaks, etc.), may offer their existing support team and resources, such as existing printed products, guidelines, social media networking blasts etc.
  7. Events are an ideal platform for recognition, publicity, networking, raising money, and more. Provide an additional incentive to attract even more attendees and honorary guests. Whether it is food and lavations, talent performances, celebrity guest appearances, free gift bags, gift giveaways, or silent auctions, incentives help to draw wide attention to events and increase interaction between those who donate and participate.
  8. The more the merrier! In order to increase supporters and participation, advertise to your targeted audience for the event. Flyers, invitations, website, billboards, and mass mailers all aid in marketing. Seek local businesses to help display flyers, spread the word about special causes, rally donations, or simply inform residents of the organizations within a community.

Fundraising and donations can benefit any organization by providing more resources, which creates more opportunities to pour funds into the ultimate purpose and mission of the event. Ensure the fundraiser you wish to plan enhances the cause of choice, and start towards making a difference today. Remember to stay organized, breathe deeply, and that if you run into any problems along the way, our team at Global is more than happy to lend a helping hand.

Global Creative Studios Promotes Nonprofit Organization through Red Carpet Affair

Location: Tesla Motors Showroom: Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA
Date: October 2010
Participating brands: Patron and Coca Cola, among others
Guests: Sophie Monk (singer, actress, model), Victor Fischbarg (actor: Fame), Annalynne McCord (actress: 90210), Annalynne’s sisters Rachel McCord and Angel McCord, Lori Loughlin (actress: Full House; 90210), Perry King (actor: Riptide), Reed Thompson (actor: Moneyball), Renee Olstead (actress: The Secret Life of the American Teenager; Still Standing), Heather Hemmens (actress: The Dukes of Hazzard; Hellcats), James Preston (actor: True Blood; Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean), Cassie Scerbo (actress: Make It or Break It), Aaron O’Connell (model)

St. Bernard Project holds event at Tesla Motors Showroom as fundraising event for Hurricane Katrina victims

Tarzana, CA, Los Angeles, CA—St. Bernard Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the physical, mental, and emotional barriers from the vulnerable people who are suffering and struggling from the devastation and trauma caused by Hurricane Katrina and the Oil Spill. St. Bernard Project creates affordable housing, creates living wage jobs, and ensures that individuals, families, and the community are mentally healthy and well.

Los Angeles-based Global Creative Studios provided the red carpet service for the fundraising event benefitting St. Bernard Project at Tesla Motors in Santa Monica, California. Some of the participating brands were Patron and Coca Cola, among others.

In order for St. Bernard Project to carry out its vision for this fundraising event thoroughly, the venue was in need of a stage. Global’s CEO Pedram Doustkam, “Peter Doust,” built a platform that was used for the DJ and music and sound equipment. Doust is known for his creativity and ability to hand-make anything that is necessary in order to implement an event smoothly and efficiently.

At one point during the event, the sound equipment failed that belonged to the production company putting on the main event inside. In a moment of havoc and chaos, Global Creative Studios, a one-stop digital studio qualified to meet all integrated business development needs, was able to reinstate the harmony after they provided the sound equipment and wiring for sound production that they brought along with them in their vehicle. The event was then able to carry on as planned.

Global Creative Studios is always prepared and one step ahead of its competitors. Had some sort of sound equipment not been provided, there would have been no music inside the venue; leaving only the noise from people’s voices.

Global was responsible for the outdoors, red carpet portion of the St. Bernard Project at Tesla, which consisted of designing and printing the backdrop on the red carpet and providing the pillars for the backdrop, runner for the event, and lighting for the photography. Global’s efficiency and accuracy allowed the red carpet event to run smoothly and for the attention to be paid where it was due—to the organization fundraising for Katrina survivors in New Orleans.

Cinespace in Hollywood provided an operative black carpet event thanks to the work of the team at Los Angeles-based studio, Global Creative Studios.

Tarzana, CA, Los Angeles, CA—In July of 2009, CEO of Global Creative Studios (then, Global Printing Studios), Pedram Doustkam, “Peter Doust,” received news requesting a full, red carpet event be planned in two days. Trustworthy, determined, and committed to achieving this absurd goal, Global administered a black carpet event at Cinespace, Hollywood’s premier nightclub, restaurant, lounge, event venue, and movie theater that claims the best combination of the city’s nightlife and an enhanced multimedia experience.

Tattoo artist Kat Von D hosted this event as a guest celebrity that featured Matt Sorum of “Guns N’ Roses” and “Velvet Revolver” and that exhibited the exclusive opening night for the sexy girl group, the Darling Stilettos. There was a pairing of live DJ sets and live rock shows that night.
